Background and History |

Traditions |

Hyatt Regency Maui |
The late Richard C. Tongg
developed the concept of tropical landscape architecture more than fifty years ago. These
ideas have been refined over the years as new plants have been added to the design palette
and new technologies developed to simplify installation and reduce maintenance costs.
Today, TC&M creates designs that are appropriate for each unique site and program --
both at the time of construction and long after, when the ease of maintenance directly
affects the project's success. |
|
Responding to Clients |
| Excellent design
abilities, complemented by Tongg, Clarke & McCelvey's wide range of services, are
exemplified by various award-winning and publicly acclaimed projects. For every project,
TC&Ms goal is to insure the landscape development is practical, economical and
fulfills the client's program and needs. |

|
Diversified Services |
| TC&M combines a
thorough knowledge of plant materials with integrated designs of the site grading and
drainage, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, water features and pools, and the
landscape lighting and irrigation systems. TC&Ms professionals strive to produce
the finest possible results for the client at the most reasonable construction cost, while
assisting the contractor to deliver the completed project within the required time frame. |
